Parker Shaunfield has found a rhythm that works for him.

And the Aledo, Texas, native is getting noticed and gaining notoriety for it.

Southern Miss’ junior place kicker has made 12 consecutive field goal attempts and in last week’s win at Rice, Shaunfield established a new career-long with a 51-yarder at the end of the first half.

Southern Miss Golden Eagles place kicker Parker Shaunfield (21) kicks an extra point in the third quarter against the Rice Owls at Rice Stadium.

Following that kick, Shaunfield mimicked a golf swing before being congratulated by teammates. The moment was captured on video and the Golden Eagle posted it on his Twitter account with a message that read: “Smooth 9 iron shot from 51 #ForTheBrand.”
