Vicksburg police cruisers rammed; driver faces charges

Two Vicksburg police officers were injured Tuesday night when a driver rammed their cruisers with his vehicle.

Officers were responding to a call about an attempted suicide, WAPT reported. Upon arrival, a driver began crashing his vehicle into their police cars. Two officers were taken to a hospital where they were treated and released.

The driver remained hospitalized Wednesday morning. He faces several charges, including aggravated assault. The suspect's name has not been released.
