Mississippi State will debut special jerseys when it plays at Gillette Stadium on Saturday against UMass.

STARKVILLE - Mississippi State will play in the home of the New England Patriots this weekend. The Bulldogs plan to look like the four-time Super Bowl champions.

MSU will debut new uniforms for its game at Gillette Stadium against UMass on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The uniforms share the same template and helmet color of the Patriots.

The uniforms feature maroon numbers on a white jersey. The block M logo with the state banner is on each sleeve. The same logo appears on a silver helmet. MSU will wear maroon pants with two gray pinstripes.

According to Hail State Uniforms, Mississippi State hasn't worn a base silver helmet since they began tracking uniform combinations in 1998. The web site doesn't believe MSU has ever worn a base silver helmet, but could confirm for sure.
