JPD: Hanging man in burning house ruled suicide

A man was found hanging in the garage of a burning house Tuesday morning.

The Jackson Fire Dept. responded to a house fire in the 5200 block of Parkway Drive in northeast Jackson around 4 a.m. and discovered the body. The garage was not burning.

Jackson police investigated and has ruled the death a suicide.

No more information has been released.
