JPD investigates nightclub shooting

A man is in the hospital in critical condition after being shot early Sunday morning, police said.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was shot in the chest at the Zodiac Club on Gallatin Street, according to Jackson Police Department.

The call came in at 3:07 a.m. Sunday. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is reported to be in critical condition.

There is no suspect information and no motive so far, police said.
