Police are investigating two shootings Monday with four victims at multiple locations, and one has died.

Jackson police responded to a drive-by shooting at North Hills Apartments on Monday.

Jackson Police Department Commander Tyree Jones said they are not related.

On Revels Street, two men were involved in a fight when Quinten Lynn, 32, was shot multiple times with an assault rifle.

Oslee Brown, 37, is sought as a suspect in that shooting, Jones said. He said Brown went to the location on Revels Street and allegedly ended up shooting Lynn. Police are working to determine a motive in that shooting.

Two men were sitting outside an apartment at North Hills Apartments when a small white vehicle, possibly a Kia Sephia, drove by and opened fire on them, he said. Both were shot in the legs and are in stable condition at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

A third person was later confirmed to have been shot in the hand and was taken to St. Dominic Hospital.

Oslee Brown is wanted in the shooting death of Quinten Lynn, according to JPD

There is no known motive in that shooting either, but there were four black males in the white vehicle, Jones said. There were 18 pistol shell casings recovered at that scene, Jones said.

One of the victims fled on foot to Kelly Street, leading to initial reports that there was a shooting on Kelly Street as well.

Lynn's death makes the 33rd homicide in Jackson in 2016.
