Man in jail for WalMart bomb threat

A Potts Camp man is in custody after a bomb threat at the WalMart in Holly Springs.

Gregory Harris, 49, was arrested Sunday and is charged with false reporting of a bomb or weapon of mass destruction, according to officials.

According to Holly Springs police department, officers received a call around 12:35 p.m. regarding an alleged bomb in the store. When they arrived, they were told by employees that an angry customer had told them he had put a bomb in the back of the store and that it would go off in 30 minutes.

The store was evacuated and bomb sniffing dogs from Marshall County and Desoto County sheriffs' departments conducted a sweep and found nothing.
