Mississippi State coach John Cohen watched a few more signees get selected in the MLB Draft on Wednesday.

Major League Baseball poached a few more signees from Mississippi State's 2015 recruiting class on Wednesday. It stayed away from its current roster. For the first time since 1976, the Bulldogs didn't have a player on its roster selected.

Clubs selected three potential Bulldogs on the final day of the draft in rounds 11-40. It pushed the total to six overall in the draft.

Outfield Greg PIckett agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday. He was drafted in the eighth round on Tuesday.

As for Wednesday's action, the Chicago Cubs selected Jared Padgett, a left-handed pitcher, in the 26th round. The MSU signee announced on Twitter he has decided to attend school rather than pursue professional baseball at the time.

Padgett also tweeted, he had an offer in the third round, but declined.

The Cubs also picked shortstop and MSU signee Devlin Zinn in the 28th round.

The final MSU signee selected came in the 29th round. The Cincinnati Reds selected Elih Marrero 865th overall. Marrero is the son of former major league catcher Eli Marrero.

The trio joins the three signees selected in the first two days of the draft. The clubs that picked those players are confident they will sign. The Atlanta Braves picked Austin Riley at No. 41. The Baltimore Orioles chose Gray Fenter in the seventh round.

Each club has an allotted amount for signing bonuses. The amount is put aside for picks within the first 10 rounds. Players selected after the 10th round can sign for a maximum of $100,000. Any remaining funds from the allotment can be used on the picks 11-40 though.

Clubs have until July 17 to agree to terms with their draftees. If a deal is not reached, players can elect to attend school or re-enter the 2016 draft.
