Bassfield's Jamal Peters could make an impact at Mississippi State as a freshman.

After naming another elite class of Mississippi high school football players, it's time to reflect on how last year's group of Dandy Dozens panned out.

Here's a look at what the 2014 #Dandy12 group did in high school and what their outlook is this year.

Fletcher Adams, DL, Brandon

In 2014: Adams was a monster at getting into the backfield and recorded 136 tackles (56 solo), 10 sacks, forced a fumble and recovered two. The defensive tackle chose Mississippi State over Ole Miss and Florida.

In 2015: At 6-foot-2, 260 pounds, Adams is slightly undersized for a defensive tackle but athletic enough to play defensive end. He'll benefit from a redshirt year in Starkville.

Gabe Campbell, DL,Yazoo City

In 2014:Campbell's senior year was cut short when he sustained an injury to his pinky that required surgery. He committed to Oklahoma over Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama and more.

In 2015: The Sooners have a young defensive line. Campbell is the fourth biggest DE on the roster. He could see playing time this fall.

Malik Dear, ATH,Murrah

In 2014: The Mustangs speedster had 83 carries for 794 yards and 14 touchdowns coupled with 23 catches for 435 yards and five touchdowns. Dear enrolled early at Mississippi State.

In 2015: Dear went through an entire set of spring practices at wide receiver and running back but a sprained ankle sidelined him from Mississippi State's Maroon and White game. He should see playing time this fall.

Darrell Henderson, RB, SouthPanola

In 2014: Henderson ended his storied career at South Panola with another state championship and with the Tigers' career rushing record title. The Memphis signee ran for 2,253 yards and 32 touchdowns as a senior. He was named the Best of MS Preps football player of the year.

In 2015: The 5-foot-9 running back is not on the Tigers' active roster yet but is slated to enroll soon per a source. Memphis is deep at running back, so Henderson will likely sit this season.

Jay Johnson, WR, Bruce

In 2014: Johnson wasn't able to shake an ankle injury but had a decent season, all things considered. He recorded 822 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns.

In 2015: The wide receiver did not academically qualify for Ole Miss and enrolled at East Mississippi Community College.

Dontea Jones, WR, Louisville

In 2014: Jones was one of the first commitments for Mississippi State in 2015. His senior season was cut short due to a shoulder injury, and he finished the year with 34 catches for 537 yards and three touchdowns.

In 2015: His journey to Starkville will take a detour through North Carolina this fall. Jones is headed to Jireh Prep where he will begin his transition to tight end. If he fulfills his academic requirements, Jones should be able to enroll at Mississippi State in January.

Armani Linton, ATH, Walnut

In 2014: The two-way player flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to Ole Miss in June 2014. Linton turned in 1,532 rushing yards with 20 touchdowns and 49.5 tackles and two interceptions.

In 2015: Ole Miss is loaded in its defensive backfield. Linton will redshirt this season.

Leo Lewis, LB,Brookhaven

In 2014: Lewis recorded 76 tackles (58 solo), with one sack and a fumble recovery. He committed to Alabama and Ole Miss before flipping to Mississippi State on National Signing Day.

In 2015: MSU used a six player rotation at linebacker last year and should decrease to using four this fall. There's a slight chance Lewis could play, but if Gerri Green was redshirted last season, the Brookhaven product will likely be, too.

Cam Myers, ATH, Oak Grove

In 2014: Myers quarterbacked Oak Grove to the Class 6A championship game with 2,478 passing yards and 40 touchdowns. He committed to Mississippi State but enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

In 2015: The four-star athlete will play football and baseball in JUCO and is still committed to Mississippi State.

Javon Patterson, OL, Petal

In 2014: Patterson graded out at 94 percent on Petal's offensive line and anchored an attack that averaged 178 yards on the ground and 202 passing yards per game. Patterson committed to Ole Miss and earned a fifth star from 247Sports after his performance at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

In 2015: He worked out with both the first and second teams in spring practice and should see ample reps time this fall. Patterson is listed with DaronteBouldin behind Aaron Morris at left guard on Ole Miss' preseason depth chart.

Jamal Peters, DB,Bassfield

In 2014: Mississippi State's highest-rated 2015 signee led Bassfield to a third consecutive Class 2A title. Peters recorded 65 tackles (35 solo), five interceptions, forced one fumble and blocked a punt. He also recorded 826 total yards of offense and nine touchdowns.

In 2015: Peters has a chance to make an immediate impact this fall with the Bulldogs depleted depth at safety. At 6-foot-2, 216 pounds, the Bassfield product has one of the biggest frames at safety on Mississippi State's roster.

Tim Washington, ATH,Yazoo City

In 2014: A state takeover limited the amount of games Yazoo City was able to play, and the program was not eligible for the postseason. Washington ended his senior season with 55 tackles (30 solo), nine tackles for loss and six sacks.

In 2015: The four-star product enrolled at Mississippi State this summer. The linebacker will likely redshirt this fall.
